about

Swarm's first release is EP Ritualogy, independently self-released in january 2013. Ritualogy introduce the sound of band and taste in cross-genre experimentations: post-industrial, surrealism, jazz, electronica, rock, metal, neofolk. Each track is carefully polished and recorded in Swarm's studio, mixed and mastered by the band itself. Producer comments to individual tracks are:
1. Invocation is recorded off 10 years old 3-string guitar (E, D, B), prepared piano and viola. Granular synthesis is the core of atmospheres.
2. Dope is four days composition process compressed into 6 minute track. Simplicity is the key we are playing on. And the trumpet? That is the salt and pepper.
3. Pass Over - Well, damn experimentation. No psychedelics has been taken.
4. Born That Way - we borrowed the voice of Anton Szandor LaVey from his documentary. And yes, it is not recruitment song for satanism.
5. Tribal Fisting is a tribute to Slovakian folk traditions. The song structure is shaped by a short movie which was declaring the same idea.
